Player Code of Conduct
All players must read and abide by this Code.
This Code of Conduct is intended to regulate the behaviour of all players in our academy. Failure on the part of the Player to adhere to this Code shall result in penalties, including but not limited to suspension of your right to play in future Little League TT games and removal from the player database.
We engage our children in sport first and foremost to build their character. In order to do this, we focus on Six Pillars of Character and model our conduct in a way that fosters an environment that these traits:

Citizenship.
Obligations towards the game
A player should:

Participate for fun, not just to please parents and coaches.

Remember that the goal of the game is to have fun and develop skills and confidence.

Be a good sport by applauding all good plays, whether they are made by your team, or the opposition.

Make an effort to improve your own sporting ability, including their skills, technique and stamina.

Give your best effort in practise and games regardless of the result.

Be a positive example to other players.

Accept defeat with dignity.
-
Avoid all forms of gamesmanship and time wasting.

Refrain from using any inappropriate, negative or aggressive language towards other players, officials, parents or spectators.

Control your temper and never resort to violence or aggression.

Be properly dressed at all team activities.

Attend and participate fully in all training sessions, and /or matches if selected, unless otherwise excused by the Coach, or a duly authorized official of the team.

Never use any phone or screen during team training or competitions.

Be solely responsible for his/her personal property, unless otherwise advised by a duly authorized official of the team.

Return all items of academy property, as and when requested by the duly authorized official of the academy.
Obligations towards other players
A player should:

Never bully other players, take unfair advantage of or use any language that discourages or negatively impacts a teammate or opponent.

Treat all players as you would like to be treated.

Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background, or religion.

Be punctual and regular for all activities in which you are expected to participate and give adequate notice, to the coaching staff, of unavoidable lateness or absence from practice or games.
Respect for the laws of the game and competition rules
A player should:

Learn and abide by the rules and spirit of the game and all competitions.

Co-operate with your coach, teammates, and opponents and respect their rights.

Refrain from using any banned substances or techniques or drugs or substances that are unfit for use by children.
Respect towards referees and team officials
A player should:

Never argue with an official.
-
Should respect their authority.
-
Avoid any action that may mislead the referee/officials
