Frequently Asked Questions

Here are the most common questions we get asked...

How many players do you need to participate in a Little League TT game?

U6 teams are allowed up to 6 players on their team. The games are 3v3 and we recommend having at least 2 substitutes. So anywhere between 5-6 players is good. If you don't have 5 players, you can still get on the roster and team up with another team so that your players still get a chance at practising the game of football.

How much do the games cost?

The monthly fee to be on the Little League TT roster for the 2023-24 season (September 2023 - July 2024) is $200 per team. This goes towards covering the cost of field rental, purchase and upkeep of game equipment, advertising, website, administrative and printing costs. This fee does not include the cost of the Public Liability Insurance you need to be able to play with Little League TT.

What is special about Little League TT? Why not just organise own informal team matches with other coaches and team for free?

Many coaches already organise games for their teams regularly. The reason why these coaches will want to join the Little League TT is because it takes away their need to be involved in the administration of games and ensuring they meet international, age-appropriate standards, and that they are playing games that challenge their players to play their best. Little League TT organises all of this and provides an environment where your players and YOU as the coach can thrive. Coaches can focus more on coaching, on identifying the areas of development and areas of need of their team and players, without the distraction of organisation and admin needs. This will allow teams to play better, players to be coached more adequately and ultimately lead to better development of all players. In addition, it is always better to work together than separately. When teams come together to make each other better the whole nation benefits.
